A Portland native, Leigh is head over heels in love with this city and committed to the service of bringing healing to its residents. In working with each patient, Leigh explores physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects contributing to the current imbalance. Leigh has a particular focus on gentle, yet effective, treatments.

Leigh's first master's degree was in genetics and they worked as a prenatal, pediatric and cancer genetic counselor before realizing that while they were helping others, their true calling was in healing others. Or rather, helping others heal themselves by tapping into the bodymind's innate wisdom to heal itself. Leigh received their second master's degree, a MAcOM, from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. While at OCOM, Leigh studied tuina, foot reflexology and shiatsu styles of bodywork, and became a certified qigong instructor. Following graduation, Leigh did an internship at several hospitals in Nanjing, China, as well as an herbal internship in Bozhou, China. Leigh has volunteered with the Acupuncture Relief Project treating patients in rural Nepal and hopes to volunteer there again soon.

Among the things Leigh takes pleasure in are daily meditation, literally stopping to smell the roses, reading voraciously and basking in the sunshine when it's out. They also have an incurable case of wanderlust and will travel anywhere at the drop of a hat if the opportunity presents itself.
