What to expect

Before your first visit, we will send you your intake form. If you are unable to fill this out in advance, please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of your appointment and fill out a copy in our waiting area. When you arrive, have a seat at the top of the stairs and your provider will come to get you. We do our best to stay on time, so do not expect a wait time!

At your initial visit, we will spend time talking with you to get the full picture of your health history and your goals for care. Then your provider will perform a thorough examination. We will also rule out any conditions that may be prohibitive for Chiropractic, Acupuncture, or Massage. After the exam, we will discuss our findings and our plan for care. The plan will include what types of treatment we think are the best fit for you and how often it will take to reach your goals.

Expect a full treatment at your first appointment after the treatment plan is explained. Treatment will likely include hands-on care as well as instructions for home exercises and self care. Your provider is available by phone or email after your first visits if you have any questions.

Are you in pain or have an injury?

We’re here for you! In addition to our weekday appointments, we’re excited to offer Saturday appointments.

Insurance & Billing

Insurance Patients

We accept auto accident, workers compensation, personal injury and select health insurance plans. Check with your provider directly to find out which plans they accept. Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. Our staff will verify and explain your benefits before treatment, at no charge.

No Insurance Patients

If you are uninsured or choose to pay out of pocket for your treatment, Lula Health Center will offer you a discounted price. Some providers also offer an income-dependent sliding scale that can reduce your fee even further. There is an application and approval process to qualify for this lower rate. Ask your provider if they offer this for their care.

Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover natural healthcare to be extremely cost-effective and affordable.
